Many generations ago a small group of men discovered an ancient text. The book contained ancient spells and writings about a demon world
that used to be connected with our own. Together they experimented with these magicks to make themselves stronger. In their quest for
personal gain however they re-created the bond between the both worlds. The demons travelled to our world quickly, in search of
new horizons. Before their own demise the men experimented on a small group of pregnant mothers to make their children strong enough to
again defeat the demons. None of the children showed any signs of the magic when they were born and so the group of men abandoned their quest.
Today, in a world where demons roam the darkness there are a small number of people, descending from those pregnant mothers, who have the
strength to fight the demons. To most people their existence is legend, but in truth, their lives are spent sending demons from this world
back to their own.

Wow
That really is freaky. yeah we should have fairly simple names, without obvious meanings. And we need cool names too. lol. I'm no good making up names - that's up to you. *pokes out tongue and laughs*

Naming
How bout we use the meaning of SOPHRONIA, but actually make her name something simpler... like Sophia or something... actually i dont know about that... I just wanna call her Fi, or Fia... hehehehehe...
I was thinking about the smart guy a bit more... and i was thinking that maybe as the storyline progresses he kinda specialises in monsters... like he eventually becomes an expert in breeds of demon and all that stuff...
I agree the names should mean something, but they have to be simple enough to not let the audience know that they mean something... well thats confusing... but do u get what i mean? argh anyway...
We should also think up names for ourselves, cool but normal names... hehehehe... I was thinking Risty, kinda not really much of a name... i should keep thinking...
Freaky random note... i remember this girl from primary school... her name was Ashlin, kinda similar to Ashling, and Aislinn... anyway i find it freaky because she always use to carry on about seeing witches and stuff... like they would chase her... she didn't stay at school with us long... she didn't make many friends... most of us kids thought she was a bit crazy...
I'll think of more names soon

Perfect
This is absolutely great Wilson!!! How about we have names for the people that mean something important? Are there any names u really like? I like that history for you - the weirdly strong vamp would make a better "main bad guy" than Spike. Maybe the school camp could be later?
I'm just checking up some names
Alright for the girl - names meaning 'seer' include AWENA and SIBYL - don't really like that
names meaning 'vision' include AISLINN, ASHLING, DAMALI, DREW, OJAL, ROWA
names meaning 'foresighted' include PRUDENCE and SOPHRONIA (i kinda like that one)
Geek Guy - names meaning 'intelligent' - AKIL, CONG, EUCLID
Okay I give up this sucks - u pick names ur much better at it than i am

The people in my head
I was thinking of our friends... and they've kinda turned into people in my head... see if you like this...
You have a best friend, a girl, her name is um... i'm tossing up ideas for it... Mia, or Maya or something like that might be cool... she's normal... doesn't have any superpowers or anything... she's just your friend... but you see, the first episode kinda just involves you and your gang (i'm not there yet) having to battle this guy who can see into the future, like he has visions, you guys kill him because he's bad, but at the end of the episode there's this little shot of something like hitting Mia... she could be called Mannie... ooh thats interesting... anyway in the second episode she kinda collapses, and she has this vision of the future... and thats her first vision...
So she can see the future... but when she does it just happens and it makes her collapse of faint or be weak or something... when it happens it drains her... and they're not very clear at first, like she's not sure what she's seeing...
Like it?
I was also thinking about the guys.. now in my head i call one of them Daniel... i dont know why... actually i call him Dan but we can definantly change it... anyway he's just kinda like some muscle... he's normal too, but he's like on the football team and stuff... he's sporty and since there aren'y any vamps with souls around he's the toughie... hehehehehe...
Like it?
And i was thinking we could maybe just make the other guy the smart guy... like he's not a geek but he can use the computer and knows a lot of things... he's the brains, along with your watcher...
Like it?
I wanted to change my part in it a bit... i was thinking of making my entrance a bit more interesting... for instance i've been a slayer for a year and a half... and a year and like two months ago i was kinda kidnapped by vampires... for the past year they've had me captive and they've been drinking my blood to make them stronger but not drinking enough to kill me... in the second episode (its easier to refer to stuff happening in episodes i reckon) i escape, and run away, your friend Mannie sees a vision of me in a back alley hiding from vamps and you have to save me... after you pulling some kick-arse (literally) moves on the weirdly strong vamps you and your friends take me back to your headquarters and your watcher remembers the year old story of a slayer going missing, the council thought i ran away from them, but i was captured... so you find out what i am... but the evil strong (from drinking slayer blood) vamp who was in charge of holding me prisoner tried to come and catch me again and you and i and your friends have to fight him and kill him. FADE TO BLACK.
What do you think?
As you can tell i have no life and all that stuff... i think things through too much... but do you like it? If i've thought it through too much and you don't like it just say so... coz it is a bit weird... but have a think about it... it's only two episodes... i'm not sure what to put in the third one... and i duno about the camping stuff...

warm up
This is kind of random... originally it was meant to be us two as the slayers but i just kept seeing buffy in my head so i put her in and then i used giles, willow and xander... it's just kind of a warm up to writing something
Buffy: [Walks to table and puts down weapon]
Giles: [Standing behind table, reading old book and fixing glasses]
Giles: How did it go?
Buffy: She fell down
OC: [followed Buffy in, sits down at table]
OC: Hey!
Buffy: [to OC] He asked how it went. I suddenly felt the urge to recall every detail. [back to Giles] She didn't even trip, she just fell. It was kinda like 'splat', suddenly on the ground, no possible reason for the lack of verticleness.
OC: Again I say hey!
Buffy: A clumsy slayer is a bad slayer
OC: I'll clumsy slayer you in a second
Xander: Is my brain on vacation or does that not make any sense?
Buffy: She's threatening to beat me up.
Willow: Isn't your brain always on vacation?
Xander: It enjoys the sunshine.
Giles: Bickering wont get us anywhere. Did you find anything?
Buffy: Apart from OC's sudden splat, not that much.
OC: By the time we got there they'd all skidaddled, left a couple of books.
OC: [puts bag on desk, takes out volumes]
Giles: We'll have to go through them of course, look for anything related to Sandeman.
Xander: [sarcasm] You mean we get to spend our afternoon looking through thick books without pictures, thank god for new and exciting things.
Willow: I'll start with demon guide.

Character Bios
Seth Parker
Colin Marsters
Marcus Lyon
Risty Wilson
Kate Meriton
Alice Marsters
Seth Parker is one of those people who is friends with everybody. He's on the school soccer and basketball teams and plays cricket on saturdays in a team with his
father and brother. He has longish brown hair that is always mussed up in a cool kind of way, his eyes are brown and he's never seen without a necklace on.
At home he lives with his mother, father and older brother, Andrew. Being a police officer seems to be the family tradition seeing as though both his father
and brother work together at the station. Seth's never wanted to be a cop though, his passion seems to lie in being a professional soccer player.
Seth first attended Chilton Grammar School half way through year 8 when his father got a transfer to the local cop shop. He dated Alice for a period of about
5 months in the same year, until they decided it would be better if they were just friends.
|
Colin Marsters is your not-so-traditional nerd type. He's pretty damn smart and very focused on his work. He wants to be a doctor above anything else so
if you're looking for him he'll probably be in the library, or hanging out at the local clinic trying sneak a look at some minor medical procedures.
The not-so-traditional part of his personality is his ability to make people laugh in any kind of situation. His humour is known around the school even
though his face may not be. To the school body Colin is barely visible, most people know him as 'that smart kid who sits by the window'.
Colin lives with his mother, father, twin sister Alice and younger sister Nicole. His father works for the government and spends most of him time travelling
to foreign countries, taking his wife along for the ride. The youngest of the family, Nicole is two years younger than Colin and Alice and spends a lot of her
time writing songs and singing in the school choir.
Colin has dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and wears glasses to read.
|
Marcus Lyon walks into a room and all eyes are drawn to him. It's rather strange because you wouldn't think him the type to want any kind of attention.
He's bookish, prefers reading indoors to winning popularity contests, and spends his spare time reading about any kind of history he can find.
He grew up in a family of stuffy librarians, which explains his passion for the written word but not his natural charisma. When he was younger his
parents thought he needed a physical outlet to counter-act all his idleness so he took up martial arts, which after 10 years he is now very good at.
Marcus moved to Westbridge when he was 18 years old to start university. He took a three year degree in business at his fathers request and was rewarded
with an in-the-red coffee shop as his graduation present. It took him a couple of years but he turned it into a local hot spot.
Marcus has brown hair, brown eyes and an intelligent scruffy look to him.
|
Risty Wilson has always been a solitary soul. As a child she had a fascination for nature and spent many
afternoons and evenings sitting in her garden reading. She loves being outdoors and going running to clear her head. She grew up in
the suburbs, about an hour away from Westbridge. Her mother was a primary school teacher and her father owned a small bookstore in the
local mall. She lived the perfect small-town life, spending her time listening to music, reading books and hanging out with close
friends.
Soon after she was called as a hunter however Risty's life became a series of tragic events when her family
was murdered by a particularly ruthless group of vampires who for the next two years held her captive as their personal blood
bank. Since her escape and her parents murder Risty moved in with Marcus Lyon and took a job at his coffee shop.
She has dark brown hair, light blue eyes and her hunter tattoo is on her right ankle.
|
Kate Meriton never thought she was special. At school her best friend Alice got most of the attention and it
never really bothered her. She has always been a planner, organised and efficient. She loves having a schedule but is smart enough to
realise that with the life of a hunter the schedule is usually abandoned well before noon.
Kate has been a hunter since she was 16 years old and completely loves it. She enjoys the responsibility and the pressure of her calling
much more than she enjoys going to high school. If it were up to her she would definately make hunting a subject. She has lived in
Westbridge since she was a baby, attending preschool with Alice and Colin. Kate loves the snow. Every winter since she could walk her
father has taken her skiing just the two of them. It is one of the few rituals they have together.
Her mother is a successful journalist who travels a lot for her stories sometimes being away for weeks at a time. Kate doesn't mind too
much because it gives her space to be independent and she likes to pretend she has moved away from home and lives by herself. Her favourite
colour is bronze and she hates being called Katie.
|
Alice Marsters has the kind of personality that you just want to be around. She's smart, kind and willing to give anybody a chance.
Her laugh makes other people laugh with her which is part of the reason she is so popular. Alice grew up in a busy household with her
two parents, twin brother Colin and younger sister Nicole. Maybe that explains her love of all things busy. She works part-time in
Elipsis, an eclectic coffee shop run by her friend Marcus and loves nothing more than for it to be so busy she can't breathe.
Alice's room is filled with nicknacks from all over the world that her father brings back from each of his business trips. The few
trips she's been on with him she loved so much that her plans after high school go only as far as buying a round-the-world plane
ticket and checking in her bags.
Since they've known each other Kate and Alice have been inseperable. From dummies to detention the two girls have always been
there for each other. So when Kate found out she was a hunter Alice was right there by her side with a steaming mug of moral support.
Alice has red hair and light green eyes.

Behind the Writing
Stephanie was born on April 12th in 1988. She lives with her mum, grandmother and younger bother, Harry Potter. When Stephanie was 12 she accidentally
locked herself in the pantry in her kitchen and nobody found her for 24 hours. In the meantime she had consumed an entire weeks supply of dog food. I
suppose thats why she is such a strange person really. Since the unfortunate incident she has found herself able to communicate with dogs, specifically her own
poodles, Max and Charlie.
Stephanie's fondness for writing stories did not develop until her later high school years when she befriended a very nice, shy, new student to the school,
Katharine.
Katharine was born on the 8th of October, 1987. She grew up with her mother, father, and ugly step-sister, Mitchelle. When she was five Katharine
wandered down into her backyard and discovered the garden shed. It was a wonderous place for such a child, full of saws, hammers, and shovels.
She has lived there ever since.
At the end of year 10 Katharine's parents decided to send her to a different, very strict (as in they still used the cane), private school for troubled
children. It was there she met Stephanie.
On the first day of year 11 both girls got in trouble for wearing their barets being on a 40 degree angle instead of the registered 32 degree angle.
It resulted in them having to stand outside their classroom for 50 minutes looking at the sky. Stephanie smuggled out some gum and offered it to Katharine.
And the rest is the present...
Stephanie
Katharine
